Today, on National Principals’ Day, we celebrate the dedicated principals across the Gulfport School District who lead with purpose, support their students and staff, and help create a culture where everyone can succeed.
Thank you for all you do to make our schools better every single day. 💙

Whether they are heading to college, joining the military, or entering the workforce, we want to see our seniors repping their future! Students and parents are encouraged to wear a T-shirt showcasing their chosen college, military branch, or business/industry.
We’ll have college representatives and military recruiters on-site to help mark the occasion. Let’s sweeten the start of their next chapter—see you there!

For over a decade, this continued designation has reflected Gulfport’s commitment to fresh ideas in teaching and learning—focused on engaging students and preparing them for what’s ahead.

We were honored to welcome and celebrate outstanding Pass Road Elementary students on our campus as Top MAAP Testers. Our talented culinary team, led by Chef Windham, prepared a special lunch featuring a full salad bar, soup, sliders, roasted potatoes, and fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies—creating a true VIP experience!
To make the day even more meaningful, AIG seniors spent time connecting with the students—mentoring, engaging in conversations, and creating fun memories together. These moments are what it’s all about: building relationships, inspiring future Admirals, and showcasing the power of student leadership.
We love opening our doors to celebrate student success and create memorable experiences. We can’t wait to welcome them back again soon!

April 17th was an incredible day at Gulfport High School! The Academic Institutes of Gulfport proudly hosted over 220 business and industry partners on campus for the 12th Annual Rising Stars event for the Class of 2026, along with the Reality Fair: What’s Next for our juniors in Bert Jenkins gymnasium.
The level of community support was truly remarkable. It made a lasting impact on our students as they continue to sharpen their employability skills and prepare for their next steps beyond high school. We are deeply grateful for the sponsorships, time, and meaningful mentorship invested in our students. Together, we are building a strong and thriving future for the Gulf Coast!
